Meet the San Jose Team Behind Bradford Remodeling Co San Jose
We’re not a rotating cast of subcontractors you’ll never see again. The crew at Bradford Remodeling Co San Jose is a small, consistent group that has spent years working in the South Bay’s older housing stock, from Willow Glen’s 1920s bungalows to Evergreen’s 1990s tract homes. What unites us is straightforward: we show up when we say we will, we write the price down before work starts, and we stand behind the finished job for a full year. Curtis Lane, the owner, has built the San Jose team around people who don’t need a script to tell a homeowner the truth about their subfloor.

Our People

Curtis Lane, Owner
Curtis has been running Bradford Remodeling Co San Jose since the location joined the Garrison Partners family in 2004. He came up through the trades doing framing and finish carpentry, and he still walks every job site before the estimate goes out, tape measure in hand. If a remodel is going to hit a snag, Curtis would rather tell you in the first conversation than in the third week. He signs every 365-Day Done Right Promise personally, and he’s been known to check on a finished kitchen six months later just to ask how the drawer glides are holding up. On weekends, he’s usually under a car in his garage, which his wife points out is also a remodel project that never quite seems to finish.
Mike R., Lead Technician
Mike has spent 18 years in residential construction, the last nine of them with Bradford in San Jose. He’s the person who reads the original floor plans, finds the load-bearing wall the previous owner forgot to mention, and figures out how to reroute the plumbing without turning the job into a science experiment. Mike holds manufacturer certifications for James Hardie siding installation and has completed lead-safe work practices training, which matters in older San Jose homes where lead paint shows up more often than people expect. He keeps a small notebook in his back pocket for the measurements he says he’ll remember but never does. He refuses to let a day end without the job site swept, even if it’s just rough framing.
Sandra T., Senior Installer
Sandra runs the cabinetry and surface side of most Bradford kitchens in San Jose. She’s certified on KraftMaid and Wellborn cabinet installation and has spent enough hours templating Cambria and Caesarstone countertops to spot a slab issue before the saw ever touches it. If the reveal on a drawer front is off by a sixteenth of an inch, Sandra is the one who notices and fixes it without being asked. She’s been with the team for seven years and takes particular pride in older Almaden Valley kitchens where nothing is square and the walls have moved half an inch. Outside work, she restores mid-century furniture, which she says is just cabinetry with better stories.
Danny V., Service Coordinator
Danny is the voice on the phone when you call (669) 272-2637 at 2 in the afternoon or 2 in the morning. He’s been with Bradford for five years and keeps every active San Jose project straight without a call center script. Before joining the team, Danny worked dispatch for a Bay Area plumbing contractor, so he understands what happens when a homeowner calls in a panic about a shut-off valve that won’t shut. He tracks the crew’s daily schedule, confirms material deliveries, and makes sure nobody gets left guessing when a countertop arrives early. Danny’s human detail is this: he can tell you the exact week of the year every San Jose hardware store runs its clearance on finish hardware.
One Standard, Every Job
Bradford Remodeling Co San Jose is independently owned and operated, but none of us operate without a tether. The Garrison Standard is the framework Curtis applies to every project his team touches, and The Garrison Code is the shorter version our technicians carry in their heads: written price first, clean work site, documented scope, no surprises at close. Every crew member, from the lead technician to the apprentice, is background-checked and uniformed. Homeowners see a name badge before a stranger crosses the threshold. When a job finishes, squared away means three things: the site is broom-clean, the written scope has been checked line by line, and the signed 365-Day Done Right Promise is in the homeowner’s hand before the truck leaves the driveway. We don’t trade on urgency or pressure. We trade on the fact that a full year of correction at no charge is a stronger argument than any sales pitch we could give you.
